The Bean:

This is a SHG EP quality coffee that is both Fairtrade and Organically certified and comes from the Cafemex cooperative in the Chiapas region of Mexico. The Cafemex cooperative was founded in 2010 and is comprised of around 1,000 members that harvest 1,500 hectares of land collectively. Coffee grown and harvested by the cooperative ranges in altitude from 800-1200 masl.

Overall Review

This is a blanket review for all the coffee that I've purchased over the last year. First, the shipping is incredibly fast and accurate. The beans are roasted within 2 days of receiving them. This is especially important because the beans actually arrive before they even "peak" in flavor. I encourage the coffee aficionado all the way to simple coffee drinker to order the beans. You will not be disappointed. Mountain roasters will also custom roast your beans, which is unheard of in this area. I can't say enough good things about the Wells family dedication to this craft.
